Bloomberg must never have been to London

A quick post from the land of the dentally challenged...

Last spring, your friend and mine, Mayor Bloomberg, proposed an ill-fated ‘congestion charge’ for New York, similar to the one currently operating in London.
Now let me make a few things clear Mickey boy:

  • It’s a tax, so call it what it is: "I-hate-motorists-so-I-am-going-to-tax-them-back-to-the-stone-age tax” might be a better name for your wheeze to raise some cash to line the pockets of the tree-hugging environmental weasels who would like us to believe that ethanol-powered buses and electric taxis are better for the planet
  • It hasn’t exactly worked in London: in some places in London, there has been less traffic, but it has had lots of unintended consequences, such as people driving miles further to skirt around the ‘non kosher’ areas, and more accidents as people take to driving at silly hours of the night to avoid the extortionate costs
  • New York ain’t London and it’s simply un-American!

How do I justify the last point? Well, would any meat-eating, gun-toting, flag-loving, baseball-playing, 4th of July-celebrating American be caught driving any of these (congestion charge exempt) vehicles? I bloody hope not!

Spot the car that is going to get squashed for being so small –I mean come on, I do dumps that are bigger than that car!

What has this Pillock got to smile about? He may be able to park sideways, but he’ll be a virgin forever.

DON’T LET HIM DO IT NEW YORK!!!

Love,
Uncle Mark
