US Air Force gets into the muscle car business

And you thought the Camaro in Transformers was cool: the Dodge Vapor (that is one hell of a cool name) and Ford X-1 you see here have been commissioned by the US Air Force as recruiting tools for young Americans. And no, you are not being punk'd!

While we doubt either of these vehicles will ever be used in combat - even though we can imagine young enemy combatants dropping their guns in awe when these cars roll into town - the Air Force has seen it fit to equip the Vapor with radar-absorbing paint, carbon fiber wheels, and a 360 degree roof-mounted camera. The X-1 makes up for its surrender monkey white paint job with a video game console of an interior that John Connor would probably love to call home in the next Terminator sequel. Small side-note: the X-1 also comes with a modest, 500hp, nitrous-oxide enhanced V8.

Which one do you think is cooler? And are you inspired to go get your fighter jet license?
