Honda will build the CR-Z hybrid sports car

Honda Motor Company has announced that it will build a production version of its lightweight, hybrid sports car concept, the CR-Z. The car, of course, takes its inspiration from the CR-X, a fun little car that inspired a fanatic following (one of my friends has two: his original CR-X for every day driving, and the other to keep perfect and NEVER drive in the rain).

The CR-Z will use the same hybrid system currently found in the Civic Hybrid and the Insight. Let us hope that Honda makes good on its promise to make the CR-Z a fun car, something the Insight will only dream of.
