VIDEO: WRX v Lancer Ralliart v Mazdaspeed 3

One of my friends recently traded in his Honda Civic for a Mazda Mazdaspeed 3, a car known widely as one of the most fun, affordable hot hatches on the market. A few weeks ago, we brought you a post on the new Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback Ralliart, a new, Euro body style for the Lancer here in the US.

In this video, Edmunds editors pit the Lancer against the Subaru WRX and the Mazda Mazdaspeed 3. Can you guess which one comes out on top as the driver's pick before watching the video? All we can say is, good choice Hellmut!

thanks man! :) I gotta say though, I like how the new body looks a lot better than the 08 (shown in the video) or 09. Also noticeable the 2010 mazdaspee3 only comes in one trim (unlike the previous models that came in GT and Sport), the one trim is only available in 6-speed manual and its the only mazda with the cooler in the hood. You can also add the technology package (and its still cheaper than the subaru WRX) and get a ton of toys, including keyless entry, keyless start, bluetooth handsfree, bluetooth audio, bosse 10 speaker audio system with 6 disc changer + 6 months of free sirius radio... overall the best bang for the buck no questions asked.
