VIDEO: 2010 Toyota 4Runner

The 4Runner has been a Toyota mainstay for years. Its distinctively tall profile and relatively-high chassis clearing always signaled that this was a real SUV, with an emphasis on Utility.

As the years have gone by, the 4Runner has gone more upmarket, getting slightly bloated in the meantime. However, for 2010, Toyota has paired things back a bit, most notably getting rid of the 4.7L V8 that used to reside in the previous car, opting for a V6 as the range topper. With obvious design influences from the popular FJ Cruiser, the 4Runner tries a more modern look inside and out.

But what about its offroad cred? Has that been comporomised? Watch this InsideLine video and judge for yourselves.
