VIDEO: 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo driven

"Yawn, another iteration of the 911" you might be saying. Love it or hate it, Porsche is unrivaled in extracting over 40 years of product from one single model so successfully. Every time you think they have made some subtle changes to the 911 formula, you realize that unbelievably, the engineers have made deep changes to each subsequent model in the 911 range and made it better (and sometimes, prettier).

Right now, it's the 911 Turbo's turn to shine. The accessible, every day supercar that can do battle with cars far more expensive and exclusive. The newest Turbo manages to up the power while significantly improving fuel efficiency and emissions. Lighter wheels and ceramic brakes reduce unsprung weight, and new engine mounts help with stabliity. The biggest change, however, is the inclusion of a double-clutch transmission that for the first time in a Porsche, can be ordered with steering-mounted paddle shifters as opposed to buttons.

How does it all add up? See for yourself in the Autocar review below.
