VIDEO: which (crazy) Subaru to drive at a ski resort

We freely admit, we will post anything pertaining to Ken Block on this blog. The guy is creative, crazy, cool and talented. Case in point, the Subaru Trax STi, being promoted by DC Shoes and Ken Block of course.

As you would expect, the Trax is nothing more than an experimental vehicle. However, it can already claim the title of the world's fastest cat track operation automobile. The Trax STi starts life with Ken Block's competition-ready Subaru WRX STI, gets rid of the tires, adds snow cat tracks, and gets suspension upgrades to be able to pull off what you see in the below video.

The Trax was created by Vermont SportsCar, which gave the base car performance modifications that include:

- a 400-hp 2.5 liter, 4-cylinder, turbocharged and intercooled STI engine tuned with a MOTEC M800 ECU
- Group N competition rally dampers made by EXE-TC
- a KAPS 5-speed close-ratio dog-engagement gearbox. Under the hood sits a
