BREAKING: Cadillac introduces CTS Coupe

Cadillac has taken the wraps off of its distinctive looking CTS Coupe. Sharing the same wheelbase as the CTS sedan, the Coupe is two inches shorter and sits two inches lower to the ground.

Cadillac is only offering GM’s direct-injected, 3.6L V6 with the coupe for the time being. That engine is good for 304 hp, 273 lb-ft. of torque. Transmission options are a six-speed automatic or a six-speed manual, and both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive versions are on offer. City/highway mileage figures with these transmissions are 17/26 and 17/25 mpg respectively. Cadillac has confirmed that a high-performance V version is planned for 2010.

On the cosmetics front, the Coupe is available with a Performance package featuring 18” wheels, as well as a Summer Tire Performance package with 19” wheels, summer tires and larger brakes.
