Maserati unveils the GranCabrio convertible

You are looking at the first four-seater convertible that Maserati has ever made. Based on the beautiful Maserati GranTurismo S, the Maserati GranCabrio comes with the GranTurismo's 433 hp, 4.7L V8 and six-speed automatic.

Foregoing the modern trend toward folding hard tops, Maserati has chosen the traditional canvas roof that not only saves weight and trunk space, but it also links the GranCabrio to the Modena firm's historic convertibles, most notably the 1950 A6G Frua Spyder, 1960 3500GT Vignale Spyder, 1964 Mistral Spyder, 1968 Ghibli Spyder and 2001 Spyder.

The GranCabrio will go on sale next spring ...
